The Directorate of Mass Communication carries out programs to provide services to the people by promoting specific social and economic issues in the light of the assigned responsibilities.

 Women's education, compulsory primary education, child and women's rights, reproductive health, birth control, reduction of gender inequality, prevention of violence against women, safe motherhood, prevention of child marriage, prevention of dowry, immunization programmes, prevention of HIV/AIDS, trafficking in women and children prevention, prevention of drug abuse, sanitation, tree plantation, bird flu prevention, fisheries and poultry and cattle rearing, cottage industries, self-employment and youth development, election campaigning, various development activities of the government, anti-corruption, terrorism, black money and adulteration. Directorate of Mass Communication is providing regular programs to build bridges between the government and the people and improve the quality of life by showing moving films.

The Directorate of Mass Communication encourages the people of the country on various social and economic issues to improve their quality of life through folk music programs.

Providing services to the people in real sense is one of the responsibilities of every government for public welfare. It will be possible to get the desired development only if the participation of the people is ensured in all the development activities of the government. As a result, the department hopes that a bridge between the government and the people will be established and the country will move towards development.
